NOTE: Teams have a maximum rostar size. If that rostar size is met and there is not enough kids registered for a 2 nd team your child will be put on a waitlist. At these age levels there are no try-outs!
MANDATORY FUNDRAISING:
Each Family will be required to sell $100.00 in fundraising. To kick off the season we will be having a LC raffle. Books will be handed out at Equipment pickup (beginning of July) and MUST be paid for on that date. Once you sell your tickets you keep the money collected.
VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT
The Transcona Nationals are run entirely by volunteers and we need everyone’s help!
For the 2025 season the volunteer commitment will be 9 Volunteer Hours per Player . We will require a volunteer deposit of $150 per player at equipment pickup. The deposit can be made by cash or a cheque dated October 31, 2025. Once you have completed your 9 hours, your deposit will be returned to you. If at the end of the season you haven't fulfilled your 9 hours, your deposit will be cashed and you will forfeit your deposit in its entirety.
Returned Cheque Penalty
Should a Cheque Written to Transcona Nationals Football Club be deposited and
returned for any reason such as, but not limited to: Insufficient Funds, Closed Account, Stop Payment, there will be a penalty of $25. The amount of the cheque along with the $25 penalty will then need to be paid within 2 weeks of being notified, by Cash, Debit or Credit Card. Failure to make a guaranteed form of payment within 2 weeks of being notified will result in the suspension of the Athletes ability to participate in any team activities such as practices and games.
If you wish to pay out your volunteer commitment instead, we will use your deposit to hire a teenager to work your shifts. Please date your cheque for July 31, 2025 and inform a board member when making your deposit.
Volunteering can be done at anytime. You are not required to volunteer during your player’s game. All shifts are available first come first serve.

ALL TWELVE CLUBS AFFILIATED WITH THE MANITOBA MINOR FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (MMFA) WILL BENEFIT FROM A GRANT PROGRAM FUNDED BY BELL TO COVER REGISTRATION FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR TACKLE FOOTBALL PROGRAM.
Provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Winnipeg can play a season of sport
